So, I don't have the bantam size then... Ok, that's good to know. Is it alright to breed the LF to the bantams then? I will like both types really, but will build separate pens first if its not advisable. That is not a problem. I have plenty of yard.

So my last remaining little Fav girl was always the most standoffish out of my Favs since I had gotten her and would cause a ruckus when I would pick her up. Well, that has all changed!!! She demands to be held and for me to carry her around everywhere doing my chores one handed! She really has gotten to be spoiled and the little queen of the coop! She will peck and pull on my pants leg until I pick her up. She has her body guard Squiggy that will come running when she yells and fend off any other roos that come near her from wherever he might be. SHe has become quite the Diva!

It's generally not advisable unless there is a specific trait that you are breeding for. (Example: by buff cockerel. I couldn't find any bantam buff Orps, so I found the smallest LF male I could and I will be culling hard for size). If you're just breeding for yourself and your own enjoyment, do whatever makes you happy, otherwise separation is really important. Size is an issue in the LF already, and breeding the LF to bantams won't be doing either size any favors...
