I love it when they cuddle up in the corner of the coop and when they cuddle up in my arms!!

My favorite thing that my chickens do is when they see me coming outside and they all come running with their heads down flapping their wings in excitement. It's the cutest thing ever.

My little SLW hates to be held so when I do she snorts at me. It is the funniest thing. Also my EE Zoe does not like being held as well and trying to catch her is always a workout not only for the body but for the mind. We always have to think up new ways to catch her since she remembers the last time and won't fall for those tricks again. But she is the first to know when I have treats, she will have cleared the yard before the others have even noticed I was there. (I have had to be away from them for two months now and I still have another month to go so everything is my favorite right now)

I love it when my 3 favorites come flapping across the yard for attention. Especially if I'm in the coop filling feeders, etc. and I don't pay them the attention they think they need as quickly as they think they need it. Invariably one of them will flap up from behind onto my back and then slowly, casually, stroll up my back to perch on my shoulder and peck at my hair/glasses/hat as if to say "Mommy! I am much more important than whatever it was you were trying to do." Of course that makes me stop to pet and coo at whoever was so bold and cute. They have me well trained!

I love it when my Ginger (EE hen) when you sit near her and she litrally charges like a bull then......... just sit down and eat her food

My Americana, which I've had for a year, loves to talk back to you if you speak to her. She clucks heartily, and it's very cute. If you call her by name (peep), she peeps, which is very adorable!

In the morning when I let my chickens out of the coop, they all gather at the door; trying to push each other out of the way.

Our RSL, Angel, yells for us to come get her egg after she lays. She is loud, and insistent, she wants us to see what she accomplished!
Here she is waiting at the door for treats, or admiring her reflection, hard to say which!
