Here is a pic of both my dark brahma roos when they were younger for comparison.

The pattern is the teller of gender here. Dark Brahmas are sexually dimorphic. Seeing the rest of the bird will confirm that.

So.. I know it is hatchery quality but I think these ones are too, so if it a pullet would it be lighter colored? Or it lightens up over time...

See the even pattern all over the pullet? It will stay that way. The males do not get the pretty pattern.

Looks like a Dark Brahma cockerel. Can we see a pic of the bird standing naturally?
