Most certainly would for a special occasion if it came across as classy and striking and not trashy and stupid.

However, I can promise you my 5 year old daughter would LOVE to have a pretty feather or two in her hair!! After she watched the movie "Spirit", she wanted a feather in her hair so badly and we tried and tried to make it stay, but it just wouldn't.

I'm just learning about chickens/roosters so enlighten me please? Do all roosters have long and thin feathers like this? Do they fall out naturally, during molting for instance, or can you only acquire them after killing and plucking?
