Feather Lovers Farm - Buyer Beware

Update on my shipment from Feather Lovers Farm. In December 2 of the Onagadori pullets died from Mareks. No other deaths yet. I can only imagine the Mareks came from the bird fro FLF. I also noticed that my negative review of the does not show on their website. Oddly enough, there are no negative reviews!
I posted a nice review and it took a day for it to post. So it’s obvious that the pick and choose
How soon did it die? Did you pay for the vaccination? I didn’t realize there was that vaccination until it was too late but so far they seem all healthy. Except for the one with the injured eyes. Wish they checked each chick before shipping becaus I suspect some egg yolk got stuck to its eyes.
.

It was almost 4 months later. I’ve never had a sick chicken. I also found coccidia at the same time. I didn’t have them vaccinated since I’ve never had a problem. If they have a problem they should be vaccinating everything. Of course they shouldn’t be selling birds either. And you can’t stay in business if you choose to be honest about something like that.

“It’s honestly hard to tell. Likely got sick from shipping. They did not get sick from our farm. Chicks go straight from sanitized incubators to the shipping boxes.”

that’s what they replied to me when I told them about my injured bird. She doesn’t seem to be sick because there’s no other symptoms. I really hope there’s no sick birds at their farm!

do not purchase chickens from Feather Lovers Farm. Seven weeks ago I purchased 4 one day old Isbar Chicks, and stated I was in CT and if they couldn’t fulfill the order I’d wait till the Soring. They responded that they were preparing the order for shipment. Nothing received, and silence. Then they said they’d ship the chicks 9/25 or 10/2. Nothing shipped. I wrote again saying it’d too cold in CT for the chicks to survive our winter, and again requested a refund. They said they’d ship them 10/9. They are silent again and didn’t ship to me. I will follow up with the necessary agencies, but in the meantime do not buy chicks from Feather Lovers Farm. They are frauds.
They are vile, disgusting con-artists running a poor quality chicken mill. Feather Lover Farm's physical address is: 3920 hickey ln. In Loomis, Ca. We had the displeasure of being one of their many victims. All 6 of the birds were dead shortly after arriving. They stopped communication completely. We contested the charge with our credit card company and Feather Lover Farms was viciously furious. We eventually WON the case because a reputable farm that breeds the same chickens, examined the deceased baby birds and concluded two things: 1. The chicks were poorly bred/diseased. 2. They were NOT genuine Ayam Cemanis. They said they they wished we went there before buying them as they're WELL known frauds in the breeder world.

Keep us updated on how it goes, as I am currently in a simular process with Feather Lover Farms. They have gone silent on me.
