Wow, lots of new posts! Congrats on all of the new babies! It is so hard to stop your self from opening the bator, but I learned from my first hatch that you just can't. Too many other lives are at stake!

Through the late night and early morning I had three Marans hatch - two Black Copper and one Blue Copper! 3 more pips so far - silly late buggers. I think I might need to calibrate the bator... They are hatching late! (Tonight at 7pm will officially be day 23).

Just candled my eggs this morning and all are fertilized and kicking!!! Yipee!!!!

that's good, some of mine were the same.

Just let her be. It will dry and fall off on its own. If you pull it off, you risk possibly pulling something out of her. She is a beauty!

Congrats to all the new babies!

I went out to feed earlier. It was so nice out I took a patio chair over by the chickens, sat there to read a book and fell asleep! I never take naps, but guess I needed it

day 19 for my frizzle eggs- and I think I'm down to just 1 little call duck egg. I see no movement at all in the other 2, but that little one is like a jumping bean every time I candle! I hope it makes it, my daughter has already named it either Sir Ducksworth or Madam Ducksworth depending on what it is

None of my broodies eggs hatched but my bator seems to be doing fine. Temp /humidity are holding steady nothing to crazy. Thursday will be day 7 so when I get a chance I will candle. I'm disappointed about the broody eggs but I have 42 in the bator so odds are better having some hatch.

Look in my siggy line, I have gs cookies I'm so happy for all the hatching going on, gapeach huge congrats to u!!!!!! Now that the rain is done, I'm sending your eggs out. I will text you before i take them to the po.
