I am going this weekend and getting some chicks if they get them in. I can't wait!!!!! I hope to get some pure RIR!!!!

I am still waiting on Atwoods to get chicks here in Oklahoma!

Anyway, lockdown has commenced, Day 19. And nothing happening yet!

well, I have not touched incubator #1 in over a day...(dont start with me Pug!) and I just added some water and such and checked a few and one of my German New Hampshires has a very thick blood ring. I dont think there is any way it is alive anymore. the darker yolky area seems to be all goopy in there...if you can imagine. I will leave it til sunday night and if it looks the same, its outta there. I also took out 2 more than are clearly not fertile. They were possibles a few days ago, but not nothing. Dropping like flies!!

We have chicky! At least one more behind this one not yet fluffy and an egg with a beak sticking out! But it is so hot here today - 35 c but humid too - thunder storm on the way.
