When will you ship for the incubator? I will be mailing the turner Tuesday the latest . Hoping for Monday. Will have tracking.

Gapeach are you talking to me? Ive got another 5-8dz order for eggs by sat, how many do you want this time around? I will get them out after the 2nd, this new order is going to take everything ive got. I heard from my first buyer that got 5dz eggs, he said all but 3 hatched! I am so excited that my boys are doing such a nice job.

I'm so excited about your eggs! Sounds like you will be very busy in the coming weeks. Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I literally cant walk thru my bathroom ...Spring weather wont be until April and some of my "baby" chicks are crowing!!! GUH
I might have a egg laid in the bathroom (brooder room) cage by then
My oldest neat-nic son who is a strickly non (dirty) chicken person asked me today on the phone ...knowing i am in my bedroom ..."Do I hear a chicken CROWING?"
JEEZ big mouth birds just what i didnt want to happen! .I can see him now shaking his head ready to call the booby hatch

I can just see this! He sounds like my mother- she is NOT a chicken person- she came by yesterday (surprise) & was shocked @ the number of chicks in my dining room hehee!

Ok, here is my current deal:

Incubator 1 goes on lockdown.....LOCKDOWN!!!!! (omg reign it in Robin) and then (LOCKDOWN!! OMG OMG OMG!!!)

Incubator 2 is on 9 days now...and let me tell you, those teeny tiny little Silkie eggs are some squirrelly little guys! Movin and groovin all the time!

Today at 9:30am I added the FIVE sultan eggs and 3 Sizzle eggs into the incubator, on March third they will move into incubator 1 (that will have hatch #5 in them cooking away a few day already) then on March 13th, they will get moved to incubator #3 to lockdown.....LOCKDOWN!! LOCKDOWN!!! *sigh* That word excites me way too much....

Incubator #3 that currently has hatch number 3 in them (sultans/sizzle are hatch #4...follow me people!!) has been knocked down to the final 14 eggs. I wont touch or take out any more eggs now until hatch day for it which will be March 10th. I know for a fact that 8 of 14 are moving around good right now so I am happy and content that incubator #3 (home made bator) is working fine.

Hatch #5 will be some eggs from a few awesome sauce peeps here on BYC and praying all arrive safely this week, and will get put in next Saturday at the latest.

oh....and tomorrow.....

LOCK DOWN!!! Tomorrow!!!! I can't wait to see my babies!!!!!! I put in 25 eggs, and 22 are gonna go into lockdown!!!!! I am so excited! Here is a pic of the progression of our coop!!!!


This is the back wall! It is made of mostly repurposed material! My husband iis so proud of what hes accomplished!! And so am I!!!!
