February 2022 Hatch-A-Long

Brrr, our coldest ever recorded temperature was only 0 degrees here in like 2015. I would die! Our average Winter temp is only like 8 degrees or something! We've got the opposite issue at the moment, I was worried the eggs might get a bit warm in transit, but will see how we go.
I'm guessing you are from the north of the north?

We definitely get it cold down here

Hatching on the 17th I have
Cuckoo pekins /cochins
OEGBs

Oh, that's exciting. Hopefully some of my mille fleur Pekins hatch, but not holding much luck with the four broken ones I removed and discarded! May have been dropped or something.

Yes! From the "winterless" Far North. We just get a lot of rain instead during Winter lol.

Hopefully you get some to hatch. Who did you get your eggs from?

Just waiting on one more shipment of eggs!

So far I have 4 55 Flowery, 3 Isbar, 3 Hedemora, 2 Swedish Black (Svarthona) from Greenfire. Waiting on 6 Ayam Cemani x Easter Egger. AND gonna fill empty space/replace non developers day 1-3 with my own Egyptian Fayoumi x Green Queen Bantam.

First time with new nurture right incubator (was a Xmas present from hubby but I don’t really think he realized what would happen. I wasted no time trying to fill it up!)

What a cool mix of eggs!😍
I’m really intrigued by the Hedemora, especially the silkied ones! I love all the Swedish breeds. Martin Silverudd was a genius.😊
The NR 360 is such a great incubator. I am so happy with mine.
Can’t wait to see the chicks you hatch!
