God's creation is amazing! ❤❤

I am down to 20 eggs out of 42. The roo from my blue breeding group has not produced one fertile egg. I had to replace him... but that was 12 eggs just from that breeding group. I had to take 10 eggs out from the rest of the groups. So I am down to 20 but they seem to be going strong at the moment.
Getting ready to set a second batch next week Monday. But they will be March babies.

I have eggs to set this week and next that will be hatching in March.

I was going to set some 3+ shipped Sebastopol eggs today but $25 for shipping from Florida to Louisiana and neither the Seller nor USPS have any idea where the eggs are! USPS tracking in this particular case isn’t worth the damn 🤬They were shipped on 02/02/22 - Seller tells me that we can look into filing an insurance claim with USPS 🤷🏻‍♀️

So sad 😞 right now

Maybe they will show up today? It is sad and I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for them to show in perfect condition today.

USPS is hit or miss with shipping. I had eggs shipped out on the 1 st or 2nd just show yesterday. I am setting them as none were broken and the air cells looked good.

My little mal positioned assist chick was still laying on it's side this morning. Took out the other chick that hatched last night so it would not get stepped on. Now have it in a cup after giving it some B vitamins added to Nutradrench. Has not been a full 24 hours since it hatched. Hoping the cup will make it stay upright. Looks like it may need shoes, too.
These February chicks have been challenging to say the least, but still worth it!🥰
2 left to hatch out of this batch of 9.

Oh no! That's the worst! I'm so sorry! The seller needs to refund you and file the claim themselves, that's poor business.

It is the seller that has to file. This happened to me last year. The seller filed and then refunded me the shipping costs and sent more eggs.🙂

I have had a lost package happen and the seller refused to file. My postmaster managed to get a claim filed for me as the package went Poof in the system.
