February 2022 Hatch-A-Long

Day 19 and waiting for those first internal PIPS. Photo of my wonkie side air cell egg, it has drawn down significantly. Not quite sure where it’s going to PIP but I’ll keep a close eye on it. It has been incubating upright since about day 5 and the plan is it will hatch upright as well.
If you look at the bottom of the photo, you can see it is starting to shadow.
Second photo is reminder how it looked at day 5.

Day 14 on the duck eggs and I see little webbed feet moving around today.

Fingers crossed it can hatch without assistance! It's good to see that the air cell is drawing down and not disappearing.

Well I still see healthy blood vessels in the first picture so I would just put a mark on the egg and check back in a few days to make sure it's developing as is should.

Okay I'll do that thankyou all for your help. I've only done a couple hatches so far so I'm still trying to figure things out.

Day 10! I had one quit on me. 7 out of 8 are going strong. Anyone with duck hatching experience, do these air cells seem ok for day 10?

It’s been running about 55. Right now it’s a 48. I thought maybe I should let it lower some. Here’s an updated picture on day 14. I marked it on the egg today so I can make sure it’s getting bigger after today because it still seems small. But I’ve never hatched duck eggs so I really don’t know.

I find that I get the best results when I keep the humidity 35-45% I've got some that I set a couple of weeks ago, so I will see if I can get some pictures for you.
