Some group photos of the chicks! 😊
Really hard to tell the difference between the Polkies and Silkies at hatch. The Polkies are after all 75% Silkie! They are a little bit larger than the Silkie chicks. Won’t know until they are about six days old which feather type they will have.
All five of the Polkies are going to the same customer on Tuesday, so I’ll get to enjoy them until then.😊
I decided to set some more of my blue Partridge hens eggs, she’s the one that throws those gorgeous blue chicks. 25% chance anyway. Some of the eggs are about two weeks old so we’ll see how well they do in incubation.
Will jump on the March hatch-along with these.
