Help me out with my days math here... calendar stuff always defeats me. If I put the eggs in on Weds 2/1, is today Day 4? Or Day 5?

I have 9 Phoenix and 12 Swedish flower hen eggs in the incubator and today is day 4.

Candling on day 7, to sort out the infertile and fail to thrive eggs.

I probably won't get 100% hatch for the Phoenix since there shipped eggs.

Well I'm still hoping! I didn't order eggs so all of mine are local but 20 of 26 hatched so far. No more pips yet, at least not that I can see because some sides of the egg are facing away from me.
