It's day 19, and I have wiggly eggs and have heard my first peeps!!!

I'm trying the egg carton hatch method, and I don't see any pips yet but it's hard to see all parts of all eggs clearly.

And then I stopped at our feed store today, and they had just gotten some chicks in, so I came home with 11 live litte cuties! 3 OEG Bantams and 8 assorted cochin bantams. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their home grown little brothers and sisters!!!

Well day 20 is over with no wiggles, cheeps or anything. Went to work for review and my boss was talking about innovation and I was think that something that made chicken eggs clear would be good....Maybe a sticker that would stay green if the egg was viable or one that would turn pink or blue with the sex of the chick. Somehow I don't think this is what he was looking for

I'll post some pics in the morning. I popped the little gals (Pearl, Wiggley, and Squiggley) in and the 3 babies and thier new mom snuggled up and went to bed. I think i'll take my queue from them and hit the sack. so good night to chickens, and to the people they own, and everybuggy i left out.

finally one has hatched

waiting for it to dry, hoping it will encourage some more to start hatching with all its cheeping. its the start of day 23 now with 1 out of 5 hatched.

can you believe she pipped all the way around twice to get past the repair job on her egg?!? I love this chick! (of course I can no longer tell which one it is :\\ )

(this is the egg that stuck to it's leaky neighbor & lost a piece of shell when they turned & came apart, like day 2; The membrane looks fine on the inside of the egg)

I set eggs on the 9th at 2:00pm. So when is the time to put them in "LockDown." Thanks flock!

2 (a BO and a BO/RIR mix) chickies hatched out around 5:30 this morning... I got to watch them
