Hey Great News Miss Sea Bright. I was wondering what had happened. For the record none of my eggs did anything until they pipped. I'll bet you'll be checking every five minutes.

*Update: Its Day 22 and I've got 13 eggs left (4 bantam, 4 ee and 3 bo's) I really hope they hatch, havent seen any wiggle like that others, no pips either either, I'm trying to not worry. I can here a faint knock coming from one of the ee eggs, the only reason I can tell this is because the shell besides it will rock, so that must be trying to pip..... come on lil buddy.

Woke to one more b-A'cauna..............#12

It was covered in sticky stuff and shell bits but otherwise fluffed so I moved it into the brooder. I think it will do better w/the pile of fluffies to cuddle with than all alone. I think the hatch is over, but will give the last 3 b-As and the LF 'rolled-out' until this evening when I move the 8 LF experiments into lockdown. Moving to the March Hatchalong. Good luck everybody!!!

Our day 21 was last Wednesday .... ended up with 3 new baby partridge rocks and a deliriously happy 4 year old!

To top it all off, our year old BO pullets decided Kale was okay - "Look Nana, she likes me now!"

Thanks everyone! That was a fun February! Wonderful pictures everybody, it was so nice to see all of the different breeds in chicks. Will keep checking to see if any new chicks hatch today, February 28th.

I just got a new flashlight for candling, that shines right thru my hand in the dark. It will be super for candling & cost under $10. See pics below & on the next months hatch-a-long thread.
