Go wellies GO!!!

Oh I am so jealous! I couldn't find wellie eggs! Nobody has any right now that are fertile.

Hopefully we'll find some to set for the Easter hatch. We have some sebright eggs and some "mystery eggs" cookin' in the bator right now for a Valentine's Day hatch, but for Easter I want to hatch out wellies and minorcas (or WFBS, if I can get my hands on some eggs--easier said than done LOL).

I hope you can find what you want I know that can be tricky...these eggs are doing quite well as the PO said they were here on a Thursday but couldn't find them until Monday.....shipping eggs is so much fun...not

My eggs are supposed to go into lockdown on Saturday, but I'm going to be out of town!

Leaving Thursday, but I'll be back Sunday, so I hope nobody pips early.

I have a question.

I have 2 different types of eggs set - welsummers & black australorps.

I beleive both chicks will be black - how should I divide up the hatcher so I will be able to keep them seperate until I can tag them?

Once I remove the turner for lock down I think I'll have to add some sort of wall??

it will need to let the heat & air move.

Thoughs?

Excited for the hatching! (especially the Marans, as I am interested to see the pics of candling them!)

I am using an old Brower incubator, that seems in perfect conditin. Fingers crossed.

My eggs aren't due to arrive until Feb. 4th or so, so my chicks will be late February babies.

some sort of wire garden mesh... seems to work well. it is figuring out how to attatch that is a little iffy, but others on this forum have done it successfully. I hope they will respond here, or one of the others can find the threads talking about it.
