What are you going to do w/ these? Do you already have someone lined out to buy them?

I have 1 Serama in the 'bator, it's pecking and peeping...but I had to make an air hole so he could breathe..I hope he hatches tonight!!

The 3 babies in the brooder are sooooo cute! They're so sweet too. They just beg for attention!

I have a waiting list for the chicks, so when these hatch out someone will buy how many they want. I am hoping to get to keep at least 4-5...all females if I am lucky....I do want to keep the black one and the bantam cross, so they might get hid when someone comes over to buy...lol

You'd better hid'em now!!

I hand turn many of my eggs and I unplug the incubator to turn them and last year I left it unplugged for 8 hrs with my turkey eggs in it...well they all hatched a day early along with all the chicken eggs I had with them. I believe getting them too warm is worse I think if the eggs were going to hatch they will.

Thank you so much for the good news.I will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. This is a great site with lots of people experiencing all different kinds of "Chicken Tales".

What is with these eggs? I'm pretty sure staring at mine isn't helping....yet I can't stop!!!! It's over half-way through Day 20 here (ends at 6pm), and there is nothing. Nada.

I checked on my 6 eggs under my broody. One is pipped and I hear chirping. Nothing on the other 5. I am going NUTS!!!! I was expecting them to hatch yesterday. UGH!!

Day 10 here and wondering if a dead egg can look different than a good egg and what will I be looking for:/. Some temperature issues yesterday.

I have five eggs due tomorrow in my second round of staggered hatches. As of this morning, I had two pips, both in Blue-Laced Red Wyandottes.

Chickette, are you candling with a strong light? I candle at day ten, and the clear ones are pretty distinct by then from the developing eggs. You should see veining and probably an embryo floating around if it's developing.
