I have 7-8 eggs pipping and I got 1 zipping and 1 out. SO EXCITED

Out of 6 eggs 3 from Maran/Orp cross hens and 3 from Black Ameraucana hen, I have 5 little chicks. All 3 of the Maran/Orp eggs hatched and 2 of the Ameraucana eggs hatched, the third one I heard chirping yesterday morning but it died in the shell. When I opened the egg it was upside down, and had broke through the membrane on the small end and was never able to pip the shell. The dad's are either a Black Copper Maran roo or a Black Ameraucana Rooster. I will have to get pictures of them all to figure out who the dad's are. Here is a picture of one of them, that I am fairly certain is from the Maran/Orp hen and the BCM roo. He is so big and chubby!!! They are so cute!!!!!

Ive got 7 going into lockdown tonight. They are Delaware roo over NN, BR, BA, RIR, and BO mixes. I hatched out 8 of that mix 10 days ago. Got one little yellow NN hope I get some more of those.

UPDATE: DAY 21...22 eggs in lockdown...2 black bantam crosses hatched, 1 bantam cross pipped, 3 'OE's pipped and 16 eggs we need to talk out of the egg...

Lock down tomarrow on my 2nd batch I hope that it goes better then the first batch. I got 7 last week out of 23 eggs, made soem changes in the bator and going to try again, and will have at least one more hatch this month. AWESOME. I hope I get it all figured out. Congrats to everyone that is hatching out and getting chicks.
