I just had to cull one of my hatchlings. It had organs hanging out of its body and its feet were all webbed together like little clubs. Poor baby. I dunno what could have caused it. I have 14 healthy, cheeping babies in the brooder so far. Another just hatched as I was typing this, and two more are zipping. Here's hoping that they will come out fine!

I don't like having to put down little babies.

Ah! I'm going crazy! One hatched 8 hours ago and is still damp. He or she is having a fun time running over everyone. One egg pipped the same time that one hatched. The hatchling poked a hole in the membrane while scurrying around. I can see the pipped one moving around. I hope he hatches soon! I don't want my peep to be a solo peep!
