View attachment 1258842 I ended up with 7 out of 8, #8 never pipped and when I candled, the membrane had already collapsed. These 4 were ready for the brooder, and the other 3 are getting their bearings in the bator still.

My very last setting was not fertile, my eggs I got from the store were not, and my own eggs were too long off the roosters, (I gave them away over 3 weeks now) I have nothing incubating, but I am getting close to going some where, and need a break from hatching.

Open it up and find the bad egg! Give a spritz of warm water to get the humidity back up if needed. But as long as you handle carefully they'll be fine.

Do the sniff test. One egg at a time. You will know which one it is.
