yeah mine cooked them too, once an hour I go to check the temp from the internal thermometer, when I am at work it is torture haha but I have my fiancé check when she goes home at lunch. How many quail eggs do you have going?

i have my mum to check for me lol. I started with 36 I now have 20 hatching. Not bad considering they are shipped!! I've also got some silkie eggs in there too

Well today is day 21 and i have 16 Lavender Orpingtons chicks out of 30 eggs and a few more pipping, hope they keep coming, changed the Temp and humidity this time and looks like i finally got it right.

that's great! what did you change the temp and humidity to? Decent hatch rate so far and with more pipping it should only get better

Not good news!! Some died and some had crossed beaks which resulted in them dying too. So I'm left with two! Sucks but they are beautiful and love their human mama already!!

suppose it really is like the lottery with shipped eggs

I had 10 eggs make it to lock down. 7 of them have hatched and 2 more of them have pipped. 1 of them isn't doing anything, but I'm going to wait on it. They were due to hatch on Sunday. The next batch is due to hatch in three days so they will go into lock down today. I should have set them a few more days apart to give more time for the late hatchers to hatch.
