we had one that had gotten segerly hurt so my dad had to cull it. That was the last time he culled.

When I was raising my kids many years ago I butchered both rabbits and chickens. So been there but do not do it any more I raise just for the fun of it now.

Set 11 BBS English Orpington eggs this morning. I have high hopes because they were shipped within the same state and were packed very well. The heat pack was still warm. Only two of my Australorp eggs were large enough to hatch but only one of those had a good shell. The one I discarded had a porous shell and no visible air bubble.

Good luck on your shipped eggs. I have had better luck on eggs shipped within my own state also!
