feed chick starter to quail chicks?

I start all my birds on a 20% flock raiser and they do just fine with that. It is crumbles, but I make it a wet mash for coturnix and buttons. It makes it easier for them to eat, and they waste a lot less of it that way.

I used Manna Pro Game Bird/Show Bird Starter Grower. I put it in an old coffee bean grinder and the quail chicks love it!
