Feed Deal

I took a ride Tractor Supply really to just look at feeds and options etc. Supposedly there phasing out Dumar feeds or something and boy did they have a deal. Not sure if its just my local store or all of them so maybe you want to check. They had Grower for 8 bucks and Starter 24% for just 11.09. I had to grab a few of each. The Layer was still normal price, no deal there.

What area are you located? My DH went to tractor supply and he bought some starter that was on sale there also. Maybe it's an end of the season thing.

What size bag? I just got a 50# bag of grower but will need more. These may be peeps but they eat like piggies! I just re-worked the half-gallon size feeder into a 3 gallon feeder. I will also need more starter as I have new peeps due at New Years

edited today as I discovered my newly re-designed feeder holds 3#, not 2#

I got the deal at Tractor Supply in Hickory NC. I would have got a few more but wasnt sure how long it would keep, there all 50# bags. G/L Joey

Off to TSC tomorrow! Only problem is that I find that TSC is the Toys-R-Us for the tool/livestock/farm oriented and always spend more than I intend to
