Always check the mill date on every bag! I want it within four or five weeks, max, and feed it so it's not older than six to eight weeks of the mill date.

X2, I’ve yet to have an issue. Even with it being in the coop and with the door open at certain times of the day the sun hits the garage can and still no issues.My feed is stored in it's bags, in metal garbage cans, out in the coop. It stays dry, no problems. I do buy within one month of the mill date on each bag, and use it up within another two to four weeks max.
