Feed recommendations for integrating new birds

We have four 1 year old Brahma Bantam hens and tonight we will be introducing our new 8-week old birds ((2) Buff Orpington, (2) New Hampshire Red and (2) Barred Plymouth Rock) to the roost. We have been feeding the Brahmas layer feed since they started laying and the new birds have been on medicated chick starter. My plan is to switch to Grower feed for all 12 birds starting tomorrow morning. I also have grit and oyster shell available in the coop. Sound like a good plan? Thanks for your feedback.

we give our birds regular feed, however switching feed isn't a problem... they might actually thinik of it as a treat
