I'm 12+ from my broody, 100% hatch rate for fertile eggs and my chocolate AM's are hatching! I've got lots of peeping in the incubator and one external pip. Its upside down but it's a strong little bugger though. Peeping and carrying on in there. I'm soooooooo in heaven right now!

So I'm so mad at one of my broodies, she hatched out a chick and killed it. I think what happened is the Marans are playing musical nests and the one that has been on the nest the longest is sitting on the wrong eggs. So the other one killed the chick when it hatched. Feather legged barred rock wheaten marans mix. The Wheaten Marans has some strong feather leg gene's, all the Wheaten OE's have feathered legs, when I used a BCM I never got feathered legs. 

Awww, I'm sorry! I've got a broody that will almost always kill the first chick she hatches. I hate that she does it but she is also one of my best broodies and takes care of those babies and protects them like no other. I bet those feather legged babies are cute though!

Yes they are I will try and get some pics. I hope these OE's lay nice olive color. Today is getting better though before I left to look at cars I got my first egg from one of my silkied feathered AM's and now I just put a deposit down on a new 2014 Forester

I hate when that happens, I have to turn off my touch pad on my laptop due to it having a mind of its own, sometimes I type stuff 3 times only to have it erase it

You will love the Subaru Forester. I have a 2010 model and it has been a wonderful car. Decent gas mileage but nice and comfortable for major trips. I got mine when they had that cash for clunkers deal. Traded in an old beat up 1995 Jeep Cherokee and have been very happy ever since.

I am excited the gas mileage on the 2014's is 32 highway 27 city which is good for a small SUV, I'm so glad to be getting rid of my junk focus, nothing but problems

My choc AM's from pips&peeps are hatching! So far I've got one pure black, one black spit and one choc. And it is not even day 21 yet!

I'm so happy for you. I have some under a broody and in the incubator. I'm waiting for my Brinsea to arrive so I can put them in it to finish the hatch
