Feedback on Learning Center "Treats Chart"

Snack list is fantastic! There's a lot of stuff on it I wouldn't have thought of. Hens here in Northern Ireland LOVE, LOVE, LOVE cooked potatoes - mashed or boiled. Keep a camera handy as they get little potatoe beards when they eat them.

I don't see cantaloupe on your list. After we eat the inside I take the outside out to the chickens. They attack it and eat everything but the outside skin--all the soft stuff inside is gone.

Also, when I am peeling my potatoes I cook those peels and feed to the chickens. Is that okay since it is cooked or should I not feed them to the chickens?

Thanks,
Sylvia

Serving size ... don't laugh yet!

I've been giving my 2 pullets treats, and I truly have NO IDEA how much is too much per bird.

examples:
dry meal worms
boss
millet
Different veggies (is 1/2 cup of sliced cherry tomatoes actually fine in comparison to 2 sliced cherry tomatoes?)
Too little? Too much?

When you don't have a huge flock gobbling everything up in seconds ~ how to gauge an individual?
Eat as much as they want? Can they get belly aches from overeating a certain thing? Sounds possible

Perhaps I'm not giving my pair enough of something and too much of something else; this I would really like to know.

Nice Treats Chart page!

Anyone have thoughts on Liver? It is very cheap and I was considering buying some for my girls.

Can somebody elaborate on "apple-on-a-string"? (I'm new to the chicken world and LOVE it!)

Do I just cut an apple in to pieces and hang it up for them to enjoy? Sounds fun!!!
