Feedback on the current Like system...

That is our fault as members we should have informed newbies when we said " Howdy" to them or when a newer person joined a thread...

When I first joined, it took me a long time to figure the whole thing out...but I also missed the new member introduction phase and went right to the "what's wrong with my bird" section, which is where I find lots of the folks who are new members anyway... but that's a topic for another day.
Having the particular format we currently use is definitely more in line with other social media sites and therefore, more user friendly from the get-go.

Not to those of us that use no other "social media"....and this makes me think of what all parents have said to their kids.....if all the other kids jump off the cliff, you going to jump too?

But there is something to be said for modern familiarity...like when they finally standardized which side of the road cars should drive on...

I can't make that comparison with driving and BYC and say Facebook ...other than this is a site I enjoy and the owners have a slight income inequity....
 
You could sort them? Like Halloween candy? Or more like trash/recycling?
You could sort them by date or the name of the person.
