Hey @jthornton
It's been raining a lot down here in FL for the past week or so and I have had a hankerin to build something so I thought of you and your feeder. I knew I had a scrap of Plexiglas laying around somewhere but when I finally found it it was smaller than I thought. So I built it about 11" wide and a foot tall. I hung it on the wall inside the coop for those rainy
mornings when I don't get out there to open the pop door at first light. Thanks for sharing your idea and giving me something to do for a couple of hours on a rainy day.
I keep wishing I had a piece big enough.I knew I had a scrap of Plexiglas laying around somewhere
I'm better with a saw and drill/driver than a computer and a camera but when it's not raining I'll try to remember to do that.Don't forget to take a photo of it and post it to the thread.
where can I buy that stand for the bucket? That would be cool to have more chicken neighbors.
I built this nipple water dispenser from a 5 gallon bucket. It would be a simple thing to add a PVC pipe with a cap outside the run to fill from. This is a shot from inside my first badly constructed run (too short for old farts). I have a floating heater in the bucket for winter months. I got the nipples from amazon. I need to get a photo of it now with the landscaping. The only thing I don't like is they fly up there and poop so I need to make a panel on a 45 to cover the lid.
