I have 4 bourbon red turkey eggs due around April 1 and I have never raised Turkey's from babies before, only chickens. What % of protein and fat should be fed to heritage turkeys as babies and when they get older and what other vitamins should be in there food? They are being g raised strictly for pets. Any feeding advise would be greatly appreciated.

I feed newly hatched poults a 28% protein turkey/gamebird starter followed by a 24% protein turkey/gamebird grower. As adults I feed them a 16% protein layer pellets with free choice oyster shell.

This is a good guide to raising newly hatched poults.
