feeding ground hazelnuts for calcium?

Does anyone know if you can add ground hazelnuts to add calcium to chicken diet and help with thin shells?
That won't work at all.. as hazelnuts are high fat but not high calcium.

The daily values are human diet recommendations so not valid at all.. but you can still see the nutrient breakdown in the following link..

https://nuthealth.org/nut-facts/hazelnuts/

According to that link, calcium content is only 32 mg out of 28 g serving size. That's 0.032 grams out of 28, if my math is correct.

This link puts calcium at 114 mg out of a 100 g serving. Or 0.114 g out of 100.. Less than 1% calcium.

It may make the condition of thin shells worse rather than better, according to my understanding.. Please describe current age and diet and what other options may be available to you or what country are you in.

Do you already feed back the egg shells themselves?

Yes I feed back the shells after baking. I also have oyster shell out but they don't seem to eat. Feed shredded carrots, bananas, apples chopped up and add nut powder. These are country free range chickens. Out in the morning and in at night. One has really thin shells. Suggestions? What type of human calcium. I have calcium with D

Do you know which bird it is that has the thin shells? Calcium citrate is the usual recommendation. They can easily swallow the tablets if you pop them in their mouths.
I don't know which hen has the thin shell, but, here's an update. I can't find any eggshell only the white and yolk of the egg in the straw. I am at a total loss. They are enclosed in their pen/house when they lay in the morning so not a predator stealing and dripping some of the egg. Any ideas on that one?

What other feed do you offer your chickens.
