Feeding hens steak

The steak has been cooked and salted. I know that salt isn't good for hens. Is there a way to desalt it enough so that it's OK for them to eat? If I soak it in hot water, will that work? Thanks in advance.

I dont feed my chickens meat at all but each to their own i would just rinse the steak off with water yes xx

I give my hens a left over t-bone to pic after we eat it. They love it. Bugs that they eat in summer is protein. If they just eat it every once in a while as a treat it shouldn't be a problem.

I’d concur that a rinse should remove enough salt to make it safe, and the protein boost will do them good!
