Feeding schedule for Ducks?

I have six female ducks that are 12 weeks old. What is the progression for feed (protein) requirements as they get older and approach laying age?

They were on a high protein chick starter than moved to an 16-18 % protein. I am using organic non GMO Mash. There seem to be several options but not sure what would be the best choices?

They do free range during the day so there are other options for them too during the day.

They can be put on a grower feed...Or even a finisher feed..People use a Turkey finisher or if you can get a waterfowl feed is best....I'm in Canada and can buy Duck feed....

No duck feed here. How long should they be on a grower feed before they move to layer? There is a phase 1 and a phase 2 layer feed. One is a pre layer feed but how soon would I start them on that?

The folks at the feed store do not know regarding ducks only chickens and i understand the requirements are slightly different. What element do you think I should pay the most attention too (protein, calcium content, etc.)
