Anyway, you may already have seen this on the usefulness of "Field Pea in Poultry Diets" from NDSU. Lots less anti-nutrients in peas compared to soybeans, as I understand it.

No Again I had not seen that specific article..Thanks.. Many of my "odd" organic grains come out of North Dakota.
Chickfarmer, yep Pearson's square... Playing with feed nutrient, protein and amino acid profiles is sort of a fun "hobby" for me.. It can be real tricky finding good data on protein values of various potential feed components......... I guess I am a chicken feed nerd.....
IMO alfalfa meal or pellets works great when green forage is not accessible 7 months of the year here in Lake Superior snow belt..
