This group seems to have grown more feathers on their heads starting this fall.

Maybe that's it. It just appears that 'my' flock has developed darker heads - especially the newest additions.

Almost 3 weeks since I have seen the turkeys either here or in the fields outside the club.

I'm guessing another food source. They were feeding here and then roosting in the pines in the back.

While I was watching a flock of starlings eat sumac berries at the club today, White Bird did a slow motion fly by.

Have not seen a lot of birds at the feeders lately, but the eagles are getting quite happy. The pair we have seem to be in their mating season a bit early this year. They are always together in January every year, singing their songs of love to each other.
