Today a small flock of redwing blackbirds arrived. There's even one female in the flock. Yesterday as I pulled into the beagle club lane I saw a redtail catch a squirrel. It's the second time that I have seen that happen.

Wow! cool. It looks like there might be a Black neck in with them, but my eyes aren't that good. It could be an escaped Swan. Some folks don't pinion.I was not feeding them but these Tundra Swans are hanging around the state park that I work at. I guess they stop for a visit on their way north every year.
