Feeding Wild Birds

How cute is that??? I would love to do that. But I am worried about the barn cats that live out back. They normally don't come into the yard but baby ducks might be an invitation.

BTW, not our idea to have barn cats but they were abandoned cats who had been raised as feral cats. Our neighbor passed away and the cats were his. His wife moved away and abandoned them. "Not her cats". So, we put food out for them.

Hang it and They will come. Put out 1rst Humming Bird feeder around 3 PM yesterday. At 7:32 AM this morning, BINGO! one female Ruby Throated. Guess I'll hang the rest today. Haven't seen nor heard any of the Grackles so may chance filling the community feeder.
Hummingbirds don't show up here until Aug.1 and are gone by Sept. 1.

Why I’m not in love with the pigeons. This isn’t the half of them. Pretty birds but so expensive to feed.
