About a dozen Grackles showed up at the home feeder. Cardinals are conspicuous by their absence. There's a large golden firethorn by the corner of the deck steps. It's loaded with berries and the Juncos and song sparrows are feasting on them.
 
The Pileated are very common here, a nuisance at times when they peck on your house.
Or decide they'd rather have the sunflower seeds on your window.

Here, he was eating suet, but appears to want the seeds that the chickadee has.

We don't see them often though, just a couple times per year.
