Female 3 month old mallard has a muffled quack

We have 2 female 1 was found wild and need help as she quacks but it sounds muffled no fluids near the eyes or nostrils

Are you sure that the muffled quacking bird is not a drake ? Can you post a picture. If young enough it may have not molted into its nuptial plumage. Drakes generally have an olive colored bill and hens a brown/black bill.

don't really know how to tell the difference, but are you sure she isn't a Rowen? I am just wondering because Rowen males look like females, and muffled quakes are usually a sign of being a drake. Here is a comparison picture.

I found her by herself she's only 3lb outside of the Costco parking lot so I think she's wild

Costco parking lot! She was likely dumped. Someone didn't want her and dump her there. It is illegal to keep wild waterfowl were I am though, so if she is wild, I wouldn't risk keeping her. Can she fly?

She's also has a long vine like neck as my Holly is a Rouen and her necks more like the above pic

She can't fly since she developed angel wind but she does try alot

I can't find any vets close by as I think she needs antibiotics and chewy.com won't just mail medicine out
