Female duck swollen inter thigh/ stomach?

Hi, I noticed a day ago one of my Muscovy females was acting a little slow , and weak in the eyes. I picked her up today and found under her stomach on one side of the part of her feathers near her leg is quite swollen. Could this be a sprung muscle? She doesn't have much of a appetite. She discharged water earlier. Does anyone know what I can do to help Her. It measures about 5 inches long, and feels swollen, but only on the one side.

Can you get some closer pictures? It's hard to see anything from this one.

Have you parted the feathers there to see if there's a wound? For the time being, I would isolate her and give her some electrolytes and antibiotics if you have any on hand. Keep her warm and as confined as possible, in a dog crate or something similar.

Hi, I defiantly separated her and gave her electrolytes. Would you know what a good antibiotic would be and where I might could pick her up some. Thanks for getting back with me.

That's a brave way of holding a Muscovy!

Whereabouts do you live? I know over here in Canada, we can't get any except from a vet (although I think you can still get some in the form of fish medication). In the States, I believe you can get some at Tractor Supply, and other feed/farm stores.

I figured if there was soft swelling and a wound, then it may be infected.

How does it feel? Thinking possibly a hernia, or tumor.

She needs to examine under all the feathers for bruising and or a wound.
