Female ducks nipping eachothers necks?

And just thinking what a bummer to have waited to get my Runners because I was worried about fighting and my Muscovy drake mating with the Runners almost 2 yrs now and all is good.

That is great your boys don't really get into it and draw blood.

Usually it's my drake doing this to the girls, but I've seen known females do this to other known females. I agree that fresh water/pool time is definitely the most exciting time for this activity. It's natural, mating/dominance. As long as no one is getting hurt or missing patches of feathers it's ok.
So I have a situation. Either I have two females or one for sure female and an immature drake lol BUT here’s the kicker. The one in question neither quacks nor raspy sounds like a male. It does all of the above and whistling and honking and screaming 😂 it lays flat like a female on the water and also bites the others neck like a male. No drake feather but they’re only 5 months. I’m worried ab my chickens but I just don’t know what else to do to figure out the ones gender. The other one def def quacks, but she hops on the others back and does all the female AND male gender “dances” too! Uggg help lll

I sure understand that. I was just thinking if you could post a video we might could help you figure out sex. No drake feather kind of makes me think you have 2 females.
Pictures may help.
And what breed?
