We cleaned the area, not too much is hanging out and pushed it back in with coconut oil and then some icing or powdered sugar. It stays in for a bit then starts to come back out so we’ve put her in a dark box and will do the same tomorrow. If that fails we will go to a vet but it feels promising. Thanks for all your advice and helpIcing sugar not sure how different is it from reg sugar.
I wasn’t able to get a picture as I held her whilst my mum did the cleaning and pushing back in but if it’s the same tomorrow I’ll post a picture thenCan you post a picture of the prolapse?
Would this be advised for a duckling as well? Less than week old.You can use honey also, and honey is antibacterial. I don't know for sure, but I don't think icing sugar would work as well. If you don't have any of the above suggestions, hydrocortisone cream is another option.
