Both methods can reduce waste. The fermented, and even just wetted, is more palatable.

Our dog. Little dude thinks it's a treat. We give him some every now for the probiotics.

My cats think fermented food is a treat lol. I actually prefer fermenting the pellets because I can keep it the thicker, paste like consistency that is easier and they like better.

That article is excellent. That’s exactly what I read and then followed. I mix 1 part water to 1 part feed. That’s a nice thick paste consistency. Works well here.

I have been feeding fermented feed since 2015.. I am currently feeding 57 hens, 3 roos, 5 cockerels and 9 turkeys. They get close to 2 five gallon buckets a day...I use less than three 50 lbs bags a week.
