Linda, congrats on your cull! Personally I found out I do not like processing chickens. Oh, I'll DO it and will raise another batch of CX this year probably but I'd MUCH rather process rabbits....
I don't like killing either one but I do and I will.
TW; I take my frozen eggs that are cracked, thaw them, and feed them back to the birds by throwing them at the ground hard enough that the yolk breaks and the shell is in several pieces. I don't bother with the scrambling or anything like that. Frozen uncracked they go on the egg skelter like the rest.
If they froze and cracked but the membrane wasn't oozing I just washed them off and ate them. If they were oozy I gave them to the dog. It is crazy how the shell cracks when they freeze then when they thaw out the shell goes back together and looks like is was never cracked.

TW; I don't LIKE doing either.. But after doing those PITA chickens my bunnies in the garage are starting to look awfully tempting.... And then today at our local market, they had rabbits for $5.89/lb and they looked soooo tasty.... So expensive, though... Not gonna do that when I can just wait three weeks for these to finish growing out...
