Kiwi looks like a fluffy circle. ❤️
Let’s go, Kiwi! You can do this!!
I need to take a picture when I take her out of the nest. She looks like a freaking rabid frittella

This is Kiwi, she's the weirdest chicken I have seen so far! She should be a breed!
Easter egger, she has araucana, faverolle and legbar in there. Beard, crest, muffles and wattles, plus a huge leghorn comb. She also has green eyes!

And this is the nest. It's her first experience and she's only 5 months old, so no guarantee!
Unfortunately Kiwis eggs were all unfertilized, and none of my hens are laying now so I had to get some fertilized eggs from a friend really soon.
The marans eggs are crossed with an araucana rooster so they're olive eggers.
Araucanas might be mutts too! These eggs are from a friend and he's kinda a clumsy breeder I wouldn't trust, lol!
Feel free to adopt an egg and give it a cute or funny name!

Never seen green eyes on a chicken! She is one in a million for sure, and very appropriately named!

I find the most striking thing about her is the way her comb folds back and forth like a flag on a stand.

As long as there's no theme for this batch, I'd like to name one Diddums.

Also, are you going to start a new thread or keep this hatch batch here?

Feel free to chose a number! I'll keep everything in this same topic.

Mary is so cute!!! Is she the smallest?
She hatched from Peach eggs, every chick from Peach is always bantam.

Update on Peach batch!
4 days ago I found a bloody poop probably from one of the chicks. All chicks acted very much normal so just to be sure, I put my whole flock on Corid.
Today, after 4 days of corid, caprese looked visibly sick which means corid wasn't doing much. So all chicks are now confined, and Caprese is on sulfa. Everyone else looks fine so for now only Caprese will be on antibiotics.
