i have heard/read that fertile eggs that are alright to incubate for ten days after they are layed so as i started collecting silkie eggs on wednesday is it alright to set the eggs next friday night/saturday morning.

thanks connor

I have hatched eggs that were about ten day old when I put them in. I let them sit in my basement for a week because I wasn't sure if I wanted to try and hatch them. Even with that and some temp problems with the incubator I still had 8 out of 12 hatch.

I do the same thing I turn the eggs every morning when I get more. so they don't stick to the side. seems to work good and it is about 50-60 in my cellar.
