Yep, eggs that are bigger than normal are usually double yolkers, even from an adult hen.

Well, after a number of regular sized eggs, Gertie proved this morning that she still aims to overachieve

Yep - her first 10 or 12 eggs were all double yolkers. She's been laying regular sized eggs as of late, so I wasn't expecting this one today (MUCH larger than her doubles).

Judging by the weight of this egg, I'd guess it's one of the two and would be surprised if it's only a double. I'll do a video of cracking this one open
