Just looked up Finn using his AKC registration number and asdfghjkl
they literally
made his registered name
'Finnegan [my family's last name]'
SERIOUSLY
WHY CAN"T HE HAVE A COOL NAME

Who is "they"? Your parents? The breeder? AKC?

At least his registered name goes with what you call him, and does not match any other name. I think AKC requires unique names, so adding the family last name is one of the easiest ways to comply with that.

And our family last name is hella weird, too, so it doesn’t match. I’m just sorta sad that he doesn’t get a cool name lol
