No, the staph is localized to the foot unless the infection has become systemic. If that's the case, your patient would probably be acting quite sick.

Eat the eggs after cooking them well to kill any bacteria which is always a good practice anyway.

She already had an infection in her eye, that went away and later came back to her foot. Could it be the same virus?
